The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a full-time Restaurant Server to ensure a first-class dining experience for residents and their guests. The Restaurant Server works collectively with the culinary Dining Services team under the direction of the Execute Chef.

Responsibilities and duties:

• You will assist in several critical tasks in the preparation of meal service including, Prepping the Bistro, Pub, Dining room, and outdoor dining room for meal periods, by setting tables, stocking drinkware, condiments, flatware etc.
• You will focus on resetting the dining outlets following meals, removing trash, and busing tables, vacuuming and/or mopping, cleaning chairs and booths and buss stations.
• You will work alongside the culinary team in a dynamic kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment.
• You will greet and sit our patrons, serve beverages, take food orders, server food orders, and clean and reset the tables after use and take bus station pans to the dish room to be processed.

• Must be able to work on your feet for extensive periods, carry/lift food trays & bus pans that can weigh up to 25lbs.

The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a full-time Sous Chef, to provide resort-style food and hospitality while developing strong, positive, and lasting relationships with our residents and guests. The Sous Chef works collaboratively with the Executive Chef & Chefs, Community Managers, and other Culinary and Dining team members.

• You will safely and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, eggs, and other foods in a scratch-based kitchen while maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation area.
• You will execute a dynamic menu utilizing different cooking styles while ensuring appealing resort-like presentation for all food.
• You will learn side by side from our expert Executive Chef and provide leadership support in the Executive Chef’s absence.
• You monitor and stock the chef’s Pantry: and log temperatures.
• You will work alongside the culinary and dining team in a dynamic kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications:

• Previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking preferred.
• You have an eagerness to learn and grow as a professional in the food service industry.
• You have experience working in a team environment, ideally in a culinary setting.
• You have the knowledge and ability to prep, prepare and present food on a buffet as well as cook eggs and omelets to order.
• You are knowledgeable in food sanitation guidelines and are able to operate kitchen equipment as needed.
• Basic computer skills required: data entry experience preferred.
• Ability to secure appropriate food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two weeks of first day of employment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a part-time Sales Coordinator position that will focus on growing our community occupancy and educating the clients to our community amenities and offerings. As our Sales Coordinator you are passionate about the importance of hospitality, handling incoming calls, assisting the sales team, and providing a happy and positive impression to everyone that you interact with.

• You will work an 8hr shift Sunday and Monday.

Responsibilities and duties:

• You will assist in several different areas including interacting with Residents and Guests, answering the phone, marketing, showing the sample room, administrative work, assisting with events.
• You will effectively network within the local community.
• You will conduct sales calls, respond to sales inquiries via phone and email, and lead community tours of the facility.
• You will support the Community Managers by assuming leadership responsibilities in their absence.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older, maintain a current driver license and clean driving record.
• A high School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• You are able to close sales with integrity, successfully communicate in a positive and credible manner.
• You take the initiative and are independent, a problem-solver, able to de-escalate critical situations.
• You are proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry.

Pay Range $22-$24
